I had the pleasure of being invited as a celebrity participant in the David Maus Foundation & Jim Thorpe Celebrity Golf Tournament recently at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, Fla. Proceeds from the tournament benefited the local Central Florida charities Camp Boggy Creek and the Boys and Girls Club of Seminole County, Fla.

The event was a great opportunity to fellowship with PGA Tour Players as well as NBA and NFL players. But even more so, it was an opportunity to help the local community through the wonderful game of golf and all it has to offer.
